Looking for Members

Chaos Theory Productions is currently looking for members. As long as you have some skill with wc3 moding, we don't care what it is just join.

Seing as I am quite godly I would consider joining the group but I would like to know which kind of projects you would engage into?

Ok well to start off i'll give a brief paragraph about what I am doing at the moment.

As you may no there is a new RTS Game called bfme2 coming out on 2nd of March. As there is no real moding site for this game I thought it would be an excelent opotunity, so I am using the ftp access that I got from Ralle to make a site about it, which will have a section about bfme2 and WoW add ons which will be managed by The Darkness. And I will be managing to bfme2 part. So Chaos Theory Productions will not just be for people from wc3, but from 3 different games.

At the moment I am really busy with 2 major projects, bfme (Battle for Middle Earth) and woa (World of Arcarius). So I won't have time to contribute to another large campaign, RPG, Cinematic or whatever. But however we will be making a TD, Minigame or AOS in the near future.

I might join but do i have to be really active with all the projects or can i sort of run lone ranger on the side sometimes?

Cas i hate wanting to work on my map but someone else has it at that time...

Well you probably wouldn't even have to do anything if you join. We would make it optional I supose. But you would have alot of advantages it you did join, such as you would get help with your map if you need it. Also you would get beta tests of my projects and hopfuly other members only for members of CTP.

Ok I could join in on non-campaign projects such as a td, but for campaigns I am allready way to buisy with working for Unsung Legends...

k well i'll add you to team then. And we probably won't be making any campaigns anyway. Take to long to make plus i'm busy with 2 campaigns.

Edit: yes well asasin that is about to change. Soon it will direct you to a new site that should hopfuly be uploaded tonight.

Cool, I'm elite with the object editor and I can GUI trigger pretty well, I can JASS trigger but my syntax is horrible. I'm learning a few other languages to help me out with my horrible syntax disabilities at the moment. I can make decent-ish icons and I can kinda re-skin things. I'm only so-so at terrain with the exception being deserts and cities, both of which I'm quite good at. If we need a terrainer I know a friend who was born to terrain (Though he can't do cities that well). As I've said before I'm a renowned perfectionist with stuff I'm interested in, so I can be useful with touching up maps. I can get a hold of modeling programs so there is a chance I might get bored one day and teach myself to model.


And BTW: Like I said before Bob, you are a crazy internet humingbird. 5-10 minutes after I post that and I've got an email saying "You have been added to this usergroup"

Edit: Well if your good at Deserts would you be good at terraining Mordor? I need someone to terrain the Last Alliance.

Wouldn't Mordor be more of a Blight Desert? Hmm, thats an interesting concept I've just had. I think I'll do it.

k thanks. remember that it has to have mount doom in it somewhere. And this is gonna be a tutorial level in bfme. And with Mount Doom make really really big, and have that cliff thing the orcs shoot of in last alliance.

cliff thing orcs shoot off of? If it's not in the official atlas of middle earth thingy (My terrainer mate has a copy) then it ain't gonna be in my map.

Anyway, what does it being a tutorial have ot do with me? I'm just terraining it.

I have no idea but who cares. Well I don't think they shoot of it but theres a cliff on Mount Doom at last alliance thats all these orcs are falling off as if there being shot. Anyway I'll prob need it.

I'll see once I've finished the terrain then you can tell me anything you want changed, also do you want ALL of Mordor in one map or just parts of it or something?

You see that bit in north west mordor thats surrounded by mountain except a small gap in the south east, everything inside that.

hell im not the greatest terrainer in the world and yeah i DID ruch it, and sure Mount doom looks like crap but meh i think its half decent at least considering teh lack of effort

Ok well it was ok for a 5 min terrain but it could still use alot more detail. Plus there was no fie or lava in mount doom. But apart from that it was ok. There wasn't much detail though.

I might be able to slip in Mordor this Saturday, though it depends if how late I end up sleeping in till, I'm expecting it will be pretty late as I got a big party going on tomorow.
