Looking for a good RTS

As the title says I can't find anything "good" on Google or anything in this forum so I thought I'd start a topic. I'm looking for an RTS with these aspects: base building, heroes, offline skirmish mode, and just as an optional thing, a somewhat alive online community? Thanks in advance!

Fully open source and modelled in the name of the greatest RTS games of all times. They are having some problem with game performance at the moment but they are working on fixing it (what do you expect for people who were not paid!?).
