Logging out under AFK circumstances

Why is it that if I stay about 5 minutes AFK from the HWS, it asks for me to input my username + password if I go into something new that that requires it. I was working on a story thing for that forum level. For almost a hour, got alot of writing down, proofreading. But then my parents ask me to cook dinner, for about like 10 minutes. I'm helping, but then I remeber this, come back to post this. It asks for my username + password. I type it in, and it says it has a error, and cannot post this. Now I lost all my stuff, and I'm pissed.

When you log in, check the "Remember Me" box. That will automatically log you in and you shouldn't lose anything.

It will never log you out unless you clear your cookies.

I suggest copying long posts just in case, anyways. There are more than a few things that can go wrong.

Yeah I also do that when I am posting something. Somebody should make a firefox plugin that backs up your input fields.
