[Solved] logf("hello world") not writing to grimext.txt

Anyone ever hear of this prob? A friend of mine has been trying to get Lua working =).

This script runs in a blank map, no syntax errors etc

//! externalblock extension=lua FileExporter $FILENAME$
    //! i logf("Hello World")
//! endexternalblock

But grimext.txt doesn't even get generated in the logs folder.

I'm at a loss as to what could possibly be wrong with his installation. Everything is working but Lua ;p, and Lua is running but not doing anything o-o.

He has all of the latest stuff, the installation looked totally fine, and all of the options in NewGen WE are correct (totally match mine).

What kind of computer is he running? It's possible he needs to Run As Admin to make it work.
