Load codes

How are you suppose to type the load codes in? just -load blahblah-blahblah right when the game starts?
Cause mine does not seem to be working, and it was not a single player code.

 

[Vexen.X]

"-load" {enter}

you will get a message saying 'you can now enter your code'

"code goes here" {enter} hero will load
