Introduction:
This is my piano cover of "Bu Fu Ren Jian" (不负人间), originally sung by A YueYue.
The melody is short — less than a minute — but the emotion lingers. The lyrics tell of a man climbing three thousand steps, praying to Buddha, and reciting poetry while drunk. He seems to be searching for something, or perhaps letting something go. When I played it, I didn't try to force any emotion. I just followed the melody and let it flow.
It's perfect for quiet moments in RPG maps — a character sitting alone in a tavern, praying in a temple, or traveling through the wilderness at night. In campaign maps, it could underscore a memory, a difficult choice, or a farewell. It only lasts 54 seconds. Just enough for a moment of silence.
