little problem

i edited a skin, and i saved from photoshop, i uploded it into warcraft3 model editor, and the model turned all silver, can some one tell me why it turned silver and not the 1 i made?

dont view it in wc3 model editor, view it in wc3 viewer, open a model via its browser and then replace the texture (by going somewhere in..the menu.. i forgot)

just to tell you, the wc3 viewer is a horrible tool. It doesn't display particles and their path correctly, its messy and I absolutly hate it. And the blue burns my eyes. It might have some small useful functions I didn't see, but honeslty, there is way better.

Wc3 model editor can do the same thing plus:
-edit geometry
-actually show particles correctly
-all that geoset animations, sequence and node stuff
-add extra lights and emitters.

maybe you didn't put the texture in the right file or something. wc3 model editor never did that to me.

Wc3 model editor does not load models that have their textures in the right path of the folder, thus, you cant view your wip models to test their anims in it nor can you test skins on models.

And wc3 model editors browser is much more ...uneasy or.. unfriendly as wc3viewers.

And wc3viewer and Editor are different. Thus the names.
