well ive been terrain for while now, and i cant seem to figure out how to add the black spot like this this screenshot for dungeon entrance

Appears to be the outland abyss tile to me.

You could also play around with the black glow model for a better effect: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...-134939/?prev=search=black%20glow&d=list&r=20

Or, you could for example make a new cinematic doodad that's a gate for example, and just tint it black.
