Lightning Effects

Does anyone know the pathing of the Chain Lightning, lightning effect cause I imported a better model and need to use it in my map instead of chain lightning. (the pathing of the other lightning effects would also be welcome if anyone knows them)

IF you mean the path just check it by making a unit look like chain lightning effect, then going down the third tab in the area that you choose how the model looks like and copying that path, it should look like this, something\something\something.mdx or .blp.

you can't set the model of a lightning into a model so you cannot use this method... try using an mpq browser and search for it... if you have Magos model editor or war3viewer it would be easier to search for it I think...

Abilities\Spells\Orc\LightningBolt\LightningBoltMissile.mdl this is the missile itself. But not that lightning.

there was a skin in the skins section for the shackles lightning effect, maybe try to ask the maker of that skin about the path of the lightning effects...
