Rather than starting a project and then looking for someone to work with I figured I would be that cool kid and do the opposite.
So basically if anyone is willing work with me on a project I am sure we can agree on the project details.

And while I did write "anyone" I don't work with just anyone, not looking to work with new people with somewhat low knowledge of wc3 modding. Be above average in your field of work I suppose?

in my project you can create a new hero, if u like that. So u don't need any knowledge about the game and code... i just show u which libs i use and that's it :)
Or you can think about creating a new feature for a part of the game... whatever.... there's always something to do.
Anyway... if u are interested, just drop a me a line :)

Have a nice day all.

I think it would be good (for the sake of making this thread work :p) to state what you are good at. Is it terraining, storytelling, art, coding, etc... You already mentioned storytelling, but a larger "profile" of your abilities would make it easier for others who need partners for a project to know whether they need you or not. That's my 2 cents on it, atleast. :)

P.S: Your profile biography does state what you consider yourself to be good at, but you can't really count on everyone going there to check that out.

Not to mention that I kind of like to develop a story more than anything.

I don't have time (or knowledge) to work on a project right now, but you reminded me of an idea I had some time back.
So, I'll just spill it out here. It is heavily based on telltale games (here).

I thought of it as a campaign. It should have a lot conversations, with multiple answers, and depending on your answers
you build a relationship with other characters, and influence in which way the story will go. You can be rude to
someone and deteriorate your relationship, or improve it, depending on whom you are talking to.
With a chat system and spellbook for Q, W, E, R answers, there could be a nice system for eye appealing conversations.

The choices, that influence the story, shouldn't only be in conversation, player can also choose other things
(eg go left or right, help/save this person or that, which item is used...).

Gameplay would be scenic, meaning there's one "scene", and you can't go forward until you accomplish
the task in that scene (eg talk to everyone, find a way around, find all tools/items, build something, defeat someone...).
Tasks can be different for the same scene depending on which characters are left with you at that point (your choices from before).
This scene setup would be good for making beautiful terrains.

It's a lot of work, especially writing up all those conversations and their variations, but it is just an idea..

Interesting. Got my mind stuck on WC3 modding again lately, so being a part of hopefully a nice non-average piece of work sounds good to me.

Edit: My part would be triggering btw, preferably spells and skills 'cause that's what I'm good at. I can do other coding stuff as well if required.
