leveling stuff in hidden spellbook

say i wanna give my guy some evasion and dont want the icon. so i hide it in a spellbook. does it work to change the level of the evasion with triggers?

You can hide an ability without the use of spellbook.

• Unit - Increase level of Evasion for (Triggering unit)
• Unit - Set level of Evasion for (Triggering unit) to x
