Landscape(mapping?),map decoration references

Hi,im novice in war3 map creation.Landscape(mapping?) is difficult for me,without references its impossible for me to make good landscape.
Can you please give me maps,images of good decorated village for example,towns,forests.
Literally anything you find is a good example of mapping will be very helpfull,thanks!

You can try checking out Blizzard's maps. The World Editor should be able to open campaign maps and official melee maps.

You can go that route and copy styles of known level designers, or (which is better) come up with your own style - which has to be crafted through trial and error, blood and sweat - as they say.

However, i accept it's good to gather inspiration, so why don't you check out the terraining forum on the hive.
