Gotta be honest, this is pretty far from what I think of when I think "Kobold"... But the reality is, any self-respecting race-faction needs to have some bodily diversity, and this guy looks pretty sick. So sure!
Independent of all that, you've done a great job with this model. Loads of great Blizzard-y character; I particularly love the Portrait scritch & the way he drags his pickaxe. Lovely work.

I do make the Kobolds mostly for myself, but what do people want from Kobolds, then? I'm not a mind reader.
It's kinda like the Naga brute, I wouldn't have thought it would be so popular, because to me it doesn't scream Naga. And the guy that requested it STILL wants me to revert it to 6 eyes, even though I personally just find that crazy. I guess you really can't argue about gustibus after all.

I wouldn't worry too much about "satisfying" others (except insofar as requests/commissions are involved, of course ;P). I know if I had an inkling of what to do with Kobolds, I'd be throwing suggestions your way. ^_^ My point with this was that while it didn't immediately 'scream Kobold' to me, I also can take a step back & realize that we need some kind of racial diversity. I'm down for it. : )
