Killing Unit problem

I got a strange problem, when a unit dies from shadow strike or acid bomb, and I use Owner of Killing Unit, it returns null even though it was killed by a certain player.

Maybe you are casting shadow strike via a dummy unit and removing the dummy unit before the effect of shadow strike completely wears off.

You're right. That is the case.
I was thinking prolonging the dummy's time life but is there another way?

Prolonging with timed life is the standard solution.
