Jedi

So I was browsing the Hive's model section one day, when I saw a Jedi model. I took a quick look at it and said to myself "Hey, the Demon Hunter has A LOT of potential for a Jedi!"
Then I started making this model, and after a month and a half (since I'm busy as heck) I finally finished it.

There are some stuff that I really couldn't fix, like the wrap on the coat folds, a fold during the stand ready animation, the head wrap, etc, so those parts are a bit meh. You'll see that the Lightsaber is team colored, so just change the unit's team color to the saber color you want. Also, I couldn't shrink the texture anymore; it looks like crap beyond 75% compression ratio. Also, some animations might be crap, since I'm a crappy animator.

In any case, a big thanks to all the people that gave me suggestions for this model. You're allowed to edit the model as you give me credit as the original creator and notify me about it.

UPDATE: I added the death and dissipate sounds, and I tried my best at fixing the face.

The Jedi is quite useful,
and actually a few varieties of them would be quite good for the community, a few Star Wars maps might just pop up.
Anyways, great job, the texture overall is perfected for the model, the model itself looks sturdy and the animations get the job done, good work.

Yea so.... This is pretty good modelling... Im new here but im gonna make a big project and lots of models... So you have any hints ?

It is nice, but I think it would be better to change team color from saber to belt or boots. If I use it this way some players will be sith and some are going to be jedi but they will both have same clothes.

I love the model, I love the run, I love the attack, but the portrait doenst move its mouth and the head sways to the right a lot

i'm just not into the whole star wars crap but don't get me wrong good on them for folowing their desires

For some reason, hero models don't work in my maps. Anyone know why?

I assume the original model you're talking about is my old Illidan-based Jedi?
Cause if it is, why didn't I know about this model, I don't like people editing stuff I upload behind my back.

Nay, I've just seen the potential in your model and then edited the Demon Hunter. If you want, I can always credit you for the idea.

Kwaliti, I can't say anything wrong about that model, you're the best like WOW! - the Lich King and Deathwing were just awesome, but that kinda... doesn't look like your style :D still I won't allow myself to give it 3/5 (because the head is kinda.. with no neck and the face is a bit failed... quai-gon-jin (or however you type it)... it looks much like him - that's cool :D)... soo 4/5 :D you're just a too good modeler to be given a 3/5...
