I'm new to JASS. not pro at all and im still learning all the functions and what not. so i made 2 spells, 1 being fire and the other ice. i set the fire skill's hotkey to "R", while the ice skill is "F." when i learn both skills and hit F and target someone, my guy will use the Fire ability instead of the F ability. I have no idea why this is happening and like i said, i'm noob. i think it might be some order ID or something but yeah, iono. any help would be appreciated.

I know JASS isn't messing it up, but it could be you copied the skill and never changed the skill id in your jass trigger.
It could also be your hot key is wrong in the object editor or having 2 skills based off the same order id on the same character will become very buggy in game. an example would be making 2 skills based off stormbolt, using one may trigger the other and visa versa.

The work around: make a dummy skill (look it up if you dont know what one is) of a different skill that has the same targeting idea behind it, such as Area of Effect, Point target, or instant cast. and then give the corresponding skill to the dummy and have the dummy cast it for you.
