Adding an item to the hero, he should get the ability but it does not work ((

What's not working exactly? Some item abilities indeed won't show up on the hero's command card, but they still provide their effects other than that.
Also, what's the main ability used as base for that item ability?

I guess items dont show the ability on the command card, but when you click the item in the inventory you can cast the Spell.
if you want to add the ability to the command card you will have to trigger it i guess.

wich spell are you trying to add? can you give some more information?
