Actually, there is no spell of magic resistence that works for a hero...Only item ability, but I want make it as a Hero ability, such as Magina spell shield, which reduces spells damage by a x%.

NOTE: I want to make a spell of magic resistence, but the "KEY" of the post is to learn how to make some Item Abilities as Hero abilities,if is possible.Changing Hero Ability - False/True is not possible...Then maybe there is another way by using tiggers...I don't know...

Why is that not possible?
The ability you want i believe is Items - Spell Damage Reduction
Go in there, put as many levels as you want, change the values, tick the
Is a Hero Ability, go to the Hero you want, Hero Abilities, Add Ability, and it should be there.
I am not sure i understood 100% what your problem is thought...

He's worried about Items/Units abilities won't affect on Hero.
Don't worry, even if that ability is from Item, when you add it via Trigger Editor, the ability is added to the unit (regardless of what unit it is, Unit / Hero / Structure).

Don't believe me ?
Try it.

Hmmmm, you mean if i just tick the "Is a Hero Ability = True" on the Item Ability Object Editor, and then add it on the unit, it will have no effect?
I did not know that!

No,it's not,If is,I would not be here asking.Just change Itemability for hero ability true,set levels,values DOESN'T work.

Maybe there is a way using tiggers.

Test there, make this item Spell damage reducion as hero ability,if it works,YOU WILL GIVE ME THE TEST MAP OF THIS ABILITY.If not, tell me if is possible making it by using tiggers

Blood Mage in the left has the Spell Reduction Ability (because as you can see it has +15 Attack Damage, still does not believe in Spell Reduction added to it ? Let's test).

While Blood Mage on the right does not has anything.

Hero-type unit has a natural magic resistance of 25%.
In that test map, there is a Chain Lightning ability that deals 100 damage.
Both Blood Mage HP is set to 100.

Usually, without any other Spell Reduction Ability added to the unit, the unit's HP will become 25 (100 * 0.75 (reduced by 25%) = 25)
The HP of Blood Mage on the right will become 25 when targeted with Chain Lightning that deals 100 damage.
Expected Value 25 ~ 30

While Blood Mage on the left side, when targeted with Chain Lightning, its HP will become 50 (100 * 0.50 (natural resistance + spell reduction ability - 50% reduction) = 50)
Expected Value: 45 ~ 50

Magic resistance in Warcraft III does not stack additively (like 25% + 25% = 50%), it stacks diminishingly (I don't have the calculations method, but if you check at PlayDotA, you'll find some).
That's why the HP left for the Blood Mage is not exact 50 or 25.

This proves that Blood Mage on the left has received the Spell Reduction Ability.

Notice that the Spell Reduction Ability is in fact, an Item Ability.
