Parsec is a multiplayer class-based 10v10 capture-the-flag game which takes advantage of the last features introduced in the patch 1.29, like the native mouselook function (instead of the traditional point and click gameplay), in order to create an unseen isometric shooter experience where skill predominates ahead of numbers. If you have ever played the famous Alien Swarm, this gameplay mechanics will be familiar to you.
The action is set in a space station environment where Terran and Orc forces battle each other like if there was no tomorrow. Who will be the next king of the hill? That's yours to decide.

  • One game mode: Capture the flag.
  • Two factions: Orcs and Humans/Terran.
  • Three available classes: Trooper, Pyro and Heavy.
  • Projectile collision: missiles can be dodged and can collide with doodads.
  • A voting system to choose the desired amount of flags to be captured in the match.
  • 32 different random flag spawn points spread across a 224x224 map.
  • Friendly and hostile bots that go after whoever has the flag (maximum of 32 bots, 16v16).

  • Two more game modes: Team Deathmatch and First Blood.
  • Two more factions: Zerg and Protoss.
  • Four more classes: Siege Breaker, Technician, Medic and Psy Ops.
  • Spells and secondary weapons for each class.
  • Real terraining.
  • Way more collisionable doodads and props.
  • Controllable land vehicles and turrets.
  • A bullet ricochet system.
  • Killstreak: Achieving a considerable amount of enemy units killed in a row will be rewarded with a temporary upgraded version of the current class for the player.
  • Better Bot AI and improved pathing.
  • A KillCam system.
  • Random map events (ex: a facility power outage, a general uncontrolled decompression, a zombie outbreak...).
  • Random secondary missions.

This is a very early build of the project made with the solely purpose of testing ingame mechanics.
Most of the final content has been cut out or is still under development, pending to be implemented in future versions.
So, expect bugs and a clear lack of assets.

Current Controls:
Arrow Keys - Strafe movement.
Mouse Movement - Mouselook.
Right Mouse Click - Fire.
Get close to a flag and it will be picked automatically.

NOTE: This was supposed to be a closed alpha, but as I don't personally know anyone who owns a
legal copy of the game appart from me I have only made some tests in LAN mode.
The aim of this release is to know how the game performs in Battle.net and what bugs/lag/other
problems may happen when using the service.

You have permission to host the game whenever you want in wherever online service you want.
