Island trouble

In my first few weeks of world editor ive grown to hate the ugly jagged 'cliffs' that are used to create a land mass over deep water. Is there any way to create a coastline/beach/shore that goes into the water. I know how to create a lake like this but I have troubles going from the island into the ocean.

My first attempt was to cookie cut a reverse lake out but the already submerged cliffs would pop up from out of the water if I tried to remove them.

You can use the "Sea" tool or whatever and make the whole land all sea. Then use the "Raise" tool with a large brush size to make smooth islands.

This makes things alot nicer on the eye. I should probably read some of these tutorials as they make things alot quicker and easier

Dammit! And i was searching for that tutorial all today when i was making a terrain becuase i forgot how to do the shores lol.. But its not that hard.. And now I remember. o.o
