Is this site going to feature SC 2 maps?

Unfortunatly the section is in beta...

Anyway, a lot of such resources should be pointless due to mods and battlenet. People do not need a download link for their map, they need a hub to retreive feedback and I believe most people are using SC2mapster for that. THW was a tad too late to jump on with SC2 so unfortunatly they are currently losing out.

Battle.net demotes the ability of fan sites to host maps. Furthermore the information it provides on a map is very limited. All because Blizzard wants total control of what people play, instead of just letting them decide.

It would have been cool as an addition to the WC3 system but... oh F*** it, it just sucks.

It feels stupid to promote a map on a website/forum and instead of letting people download the map right there you tell them to search for 'Map XY' on 'Server YZ'.
Websites like Hiveworkshop provided so much information automatically by just uploading the map to the website.
