Yes regarding that matter, is there any way for your unit to always face where the mouse is pointing? I'm trying to work on a mecha piloting FPS...In my case TPS game.

Thank for for clearing it out with me :3

Suck...Can you further explain why does it suck? I might need to weight the options/ideas I have in mind now ^^ Does it work well if I am using the typical FPS movement keys? WASD for moving and mouse for direction.

Thanks for your patience.

EDIT : Sorry missed your message dreadnought.

Eh...Small areas...Ah okay. Guess I do have to change my concept.

Well,

  • They can't be moved
  • They can't be destroyed
  • They can only detect hover and left click
  • They're strictly local
  • The concentration needed is based on the size of each one, so the less you have to spam, the more innacurate it becomes, and you still have to spam a lot
  • etc

About keys, WSAD aren't detectable (again, except with RTC), barring abilities, which can't distinguish press and release, and thus aren't viable for an FPS, most likely. On top of that, arrow keys suck (a ton of delay in multiplayer).

In general, I'd suggest against an FPS.
