If not, why not?!

I'm the group leader for the World Peace group (and you can all join now while its still easy to get in, if ya like) and were hoping to have a little terrain contest of our own (for group members) And I'm trying to find out if its OK to do things like Post our contest to the community forums. And give out rep to the winners of the contest...ya know stuff like that.

You have to post it in the arena cotest subbmision and they will chack if the contest would be approved for subbmision but i think they are the ones for like the proper forums eg. Terrain board ...etc . i read some of the rules but none of them say anthing abut promoteing a contest. the only thing you can't promote is products that you are selling.

If it's a contest limited to a certain group of members, the site won't shell out rep and awards seeing as it is not public.

Does this mean that members of the group wouldn't be allowed to +rep the contest winners ourselves?

I should ask one of the staff members that are in the World peace group.

And yes of course we've advertised the contest within the group.

Obviously we want to promote outside the group to encourage more people to join.
