RulesGuidelines

* You may not control anyone's character but your own. This includes the ones controlled by the DM.
* Cursing and rude language in general shall only be used IC, and if the situation calls for it.
* Do not make an post which only contains OOC statements, it only brings unneeded drama. Instead, bring it up with the user in question via VM or PM.
* Time Travel is strictly forbidden.
* You may not RP an official character. This means you can't RP as Velen, Varian etc.
* Metagaming is completely forbidden.
Google said:
Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game
Which basically means, while X might be kidnapping your character's wife, you have no knowledge about that thus you wont return to save her.

* No OP characters
* Use dialect
* Proper RP syntax. (See table bellow for example of the syntax characters)
* " " is used when speaking.
* The usage of ' ' is kind of vague, but often used for sarcasm or to indicate that something is not the case.
* One may use - - as a way to underline a certain word.
However, you can use something like Bold text instead if you prefer.
* : is mainly used between the character's name and a sentence when making the shorter versions of RP dialogue.
* The character * * is often used when someone is doing something.
* Do not make up ridiculous names. No one would, ever, name their pet to 'Cakey' or something even close to such. It's simply laughable.
* Take age into calculation. A mage who have lived for 500 years will be on a whole other level than a 40 year old mortal.
* Do not forget that all races do not speak the same language. If you roleplay an Orc, chances are that you don't understand a single word of what a human says.
* Respect the value of money. If you buy a drink at an average inn it will likely cost 20 copper at most. A person can survive on a gold for for months if he/she buys cheap products. Thus, there is no way your character carry around a bag of 500 gold coins.
* Don't forget that everything takes time. Traveling to launch an invasion takes time. As do assembling your troops, all your troops do not stand at a single location as all borders must be guarded.

Character Example List:
CharacterExample

"Hello, my old friend."

'
A character's nickname might be 'Ruby'. You may also use ' to indicate that the word mean something else entirely. "I 'borrowed' these clothes from a traveler."
