Increasing Mapsize Beyond 256x256

I know that WEU and other World Editor programs like that allow you to increase the size of your map beyond 256x256, but am not sure if any of them work - haven't tried it yet - after the new 1.22 patch has been publicly released. If any of these programs work and allow that feature, could you please link me to it? Thanks a lot in advance.

Maps doesn't get bigger than 256x256, if you make one dimension bigger the other one will shrink to compensate.

If you use New Gen, 400x400 is the max!

With WEU Enchancer the limit is about 486x486.

Newgen doesn't work, but you can downgrade the WE to the 1.21 version which can be found here:

altho, make sure you backup the old version before changing

at least this fixed it for me..
