Imported files in multiplayer

Hi guys!
If I import custom models and icons in my multiplayer map, will it be playable for other players?
I think it should be, but why do some people have problems importing files in mp map?

Yes it will be playable as long as you keep the filesize of your map under 8mb as that is the Battle.Net filesize limit.

Okay thanks, I know about the size limit, I was just wondering about the imported files.
