Rocket Carts are fire support artillery capable of firing rockets on both ground and air targets.
LORE:
To replace the Flying Machines, the Skunk Works created a fire support artillery to ensure low costs, but still gets the job done. Dismantled or old hay carts have been repurposed as artillery pieces for the Imperial Army. Behind this marvel was Ashleigh El-Moussa, the Skunk Works weapons specialist and expert and daughter of the Goblin Slayers Commissar Mikael El-Moussa. She discovered that the farmers used hay carts as use of moving hay into villages, so she disguised herself as a villager to help the farmers carrying hay to the warehouse with hay carts. Later that night, El-Moussa discovered piles of unused hay carts that have been outdated or destroyed by time. Instead of throwing the old carts, she brings the old carts back to the Skunk Works with the help of the Goblin Slayers Regiment, she placed rocket pods on top of the base of the cart to begin testing. This simple, yet cost-effective contraption saved the Imperium from bankruptcy and employed to all Regiments and Divisions.
TRIVIA:
The Imperial Rocket Cart was based on the Chinese Rocket Cart from Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition. But instead of arrows, they used rocket pods.
