im using a Custom race, But the computer (normal race) wont do anything but Harvest.

I think this question has been asked, But i cant find it anywhere.
I have a Tauren race, but when i try to test it out how balanced it is, (or Over powered) the computer team does nothing but mine gold.... forever... whats wrong here?

the triggers are the normal map initiation.

any help rocks!

I'm not sure about this, but try to add some conditions at the AI editor.

Is it custom or normal map?

I mean.. All Blizzard standard maps have their own AI, if the map is created by you, you might need to make your own AI with the AI editor.

i mean, not where the AI editor is, or what it is, but i have never dabbled in AI...

Go to World Editor -> Module -> AI Editor. In there, you can define what heroes begin training, what skills to learn, what upgrades to apply, bla bla.

Judging by your experience in WE, you're still new to this field eh ?
It's not wise to start on a big load of work (like setting an AI)
I suggest you go slowly, from the bottom...
Fully understands Object Editor / Trigger Editor / Advanced -> Gameplay Constants / etc

You can't test a custom race's AI. It says that in the AI Editor.

well, the people have answered this, my answer is the same, edit the custom race in the AI editor but be sure to import all custom stuffs from the object editor the there...fixed player settings also be done and make the controller sellectable...

As GhostThruster pointed out you can't "test" custom AI, you need to export it, import it (don't use NEWGen for this, it's one thing it mucks up) and then run AI initializing triggers within the map.
