I think the number of polys are a little too high due to the bones and attachment points are calculated as well. Anyway, this is the actual calculation from the Warcraft III Art Tools
Oh and Xlightscreen, yes it is sort of my own version of an Ifrit since there are so many veriations of him. On my piont of view, he's suppose to be an agility cat like creature with red glowing hair and horns and pack with fire spells.
I've just check my model on other model viewer tool and the animation looked horrible. :x I guess is because the way I linked the bones differently. So, for best result, use the WORLD EDITOR or WARCRAFT III to view it please.
I really like your Ifrit model, it's exactly what I looked for. The only thing I don't like is the size of the texture. 342kb seems just too big for me. Try to reduce its size a bit and tada.
By the way, couldn't recolor the BLP like the FF8 Ifrit (brown)? Or at least let me do it for my map especially. Don't worry about the credits, you'll have 'em.
