[Ideas] SFX Competition 3

Theme: We can do a darkness theme since some people proposed it earlier.

Death/Demonic would be perfect. It's large enough for a lot of ideas and allows different views on how it should look.

EDIT:

SFX compo #2 failed because the theme was overcomplicated... I'd hate to see this competition sink and I'm hoping we'll find a theme that incites newcomers to enter. We know the "veterans" like us can find enough ideas and execute them well, but what we want to do is see what newcomers can make.

Darkness... hmm...

I had an idea a few days ago... what about Natural Disasters?

That's pretty broad, you would be making:
- Tornadoes
- Hurricanes
- Earthquakes
- Fires

I don't really see much we can do with that and people might be stuck with ideas again We should have a poll so we can add Natural Disasters and Darkness to the choices.

Space / Time
Electricity

We already did earth, electricity is a hard theme to make because of the lack of textures in warcraft, space and time might be a bit too abstract? I really prefer death but hopefully we can do a poll to find a theme we all agree to work with.

Naw, as JetFangInferno described it, Nature is more like leaf stuff, and I think Earth is more like dirt stuff

That might be a valid thing, making SFX that would be fitting for D3. xP

A brit too broad of a theme though considering how information we have been shown about D3 -- which isn't alot. Unless we do exactly the sfx we've seen so far in the gameplay video
