idea: patapon game

this is an idea of a map which is hard for me to even think of it happening.
for those who played b4, u would understand the concept. heres the

game concept

players:

there can be as many players as u like.

gameplay:

it will be a 2D game. there are many maps for different modes and i will describe them later on.
the game is interesting: u command a group of patapons(warriors) and u cant move them. u can only move them through a pattern of beats. each beat is according:
pata (z key)
pon (x key)
chaka (c key)
don (v key)
for eg, to move all ur patapons, u have to press in a pattern: z-z-z-x (pata-pata-pata-pon)
the music will be ur guideline, it will have a constant 4 beat count. u must follow the music or u will get a bad and ur patapons wont move.

patapons cannot be bought and can only be made in the holy tree. it requires some special items (for eg, a warrior patapon requires x and y and z items)

fever mode:
this happens when u make 5 perfect commands which is according to the music in a row.

at the start, each player can choose to make a new game or load.

new game:

each player can select 3 patapons. after that, they can enter maps.

load game:

they load a code (as usual) and they continue at the town where they can choose where they wanna go.

single player area

they can choose this option to prevent players from looting their items. they can fight bosses here or just plain hunting.

multi-player area
its split into 5 areas, with one for pvp, one for bossing, one for hunting, one for town and last one reserved.

pvp

u can fight other players here. however, some rules apply. u cant use certain spells as it would be unfair. u can only fight players with 1~2 patapons lesser than u.

bossing arena

u can fight boss solo or with a group. this is good for players who just started and dont have much items. however, players can take the items the boss dropped, so u have to fight to defend yourself from boss and to get those items.

hunting

this is to hunt for certain items to make your patapon.

town


solo town and multiplayer town are different.

this is just an idea and details will be posted later when people are interested.

Actually, with JASS this is hella easy... even in GUI it is doable... I would know a way, involves a dummy unit which you have always selected, I would implement a "combo", like, you can heal your warriors with a special combination, you can cast spells through special combinations, etc! These would be of course really hard to make perfect, but they would grant you advantages. :)

Hows the winning condition? All enemy patapons dead?

You would think it would be something like 'get to the end' like a 2d scroller.

When it gets more advanced, you could give each of the patapons different jobs, like 'warrior' who can taunt enemy patapons, 'worker' who can make bridges for patapons, etc.

Don't care if you use that idea or not to be honest, just throwing it out there.
