icons to models

Is there anyway to use an icon eg UI\Widgets\Console\Human\human-inventory-slotfiller.blp as a model for a unit etc without editing the icon file because my computer won't let me use the model editors or can an icon by used as a trackable please explain how if possible.
 
Just go to anachron's custom inventory and rip out the button model from there. He has one model for the button and one that is for the trackable model. (an invisible model) The nice thing about it is that you can specify the texture in the object editor if you make it as a destructable. That way, you only need one model instead of a one for each icon.
