Hey guys im having a problem about this passive skill.
I want it to be hidden if it is learned.

How im gonna do that?

Add it into a disabled spell book. Go to Abilities, find "Spell book", add your ability to "Data - Spells", set Minimum and Maximum spells to 1, set Shared Cooldown to False and
  • Tr
  • Events
    • Map Initialization
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • For each (IntegerA) from 1 to 12, do (Actions)
      • Loop - Actions
        • Player - Disable Spell book (custom) for Player(IntegerA)

If you're not hiding a passive skill then it won't have any effect on your hero. The only reason passive spells work is because you do not need to be able to access them to gain their effects. How exactly do you plan on using a spell that is hidden in a disabled spellbook?

actually nothing...
the effects are just on triggers like adding attributes..

one more question..
how im gonna put a "stats - hero ability(checked)" to a spell book?
i cant find it when im going to add the spell..

no...i mean..
i already found the "data - spell list"..
but i cant find my custom hero spell..

the only spells allowed are "units" then "item"
and a subcategory of all, standard then custom..
<<<NO HEROES>>>

I see what you're saying.

Okay, go to your custom ability in the Object Editor and press Ctrl+D (this will display the raw-code, should be a 4-character code such as A000). Now, go back to your spell-book and highlight the Data - Spell list field. Now hold shift and click enter. This will bring up a text box where you can enter in the raw-code of the ability (that you found before, as described) and manually add any ability you want.

Yes, you can only add item or unit abilities. Make your hero ability an Item one.

The spellbook is basically a container for up to 11 other abilities. It can hold active spells as well as autocast and passive spells and even hero skills. The first wonderful thing about the spellbook is that it gives you the effect of passive abilities in it even if the spellbook ability itself is disabled for the player.

but if i do that..

when i test map then look at the hero abilities their "numbers" at their lower right side is not "1"..its already "2"..you know what i mean?

its like the level of the skill..

Well yea, if you're putting a spellbook with Holy Light onto a Paladin that already has Holy Light it's obviously going to act strange. Why are you trying to add the same ability twice?

Let's say you have a Paladin with Holy Light and you give him a spellbook that has the Holy Light ability in it. Obviously once your hero is given the spellbook with Holy Light it's going to screw with the abilities that he has learned (because you're forcing the Holy Light ability to be added). This is purely logical though, it would be glitchy as fuck if you were able to add the same ability to a hero twice.

i dont understand your "twice"..

so im not going to put the spell on my hero? the "abilities - hero"?

i put my spell there then made a spellbook then checked the item ability on my custom spell then add it to the spellbook then put the spellbook on the abilities-normal of my hero unit...thats what i did..

im not getting it..

i'll tell everything now..

the spells are "increase strength", "increase agility" and "increase intelligence".
i set them to hero and item abilities..
i put them on the spellbook but i didnt put them on hero's ability..

so this gonna work?

EDIT:
nevermind...i found out it myself..^_^ twas funny..
