Icon doesn't show up on Phoenix Egg ability

I turned it into a Hero ability but it doesn't show up during gameplay(not yellowed meaning that I haven't assigned an icon to it, just blank black). It's quite annoying. Does anyone know why?

For those who don't know which ability, it's the ability of the Phoenix, where when it dies it turns into an egg instead. And then later it turns back into a Phoenix.

certain unit abilities, and almost all item abilities, will not show an icon. You will have to make a second ability based off bash or something for the icon, and have that automatically learned when you learn the other.

This is the first thing I thought of too. But then I won't be able to assign mana cost and cooldown...
Is there a way to put the two on a dummy ability?

you just do it the same way as you would normally do it... im not sure if Phoenix Egg itself can have cd/mana cost, but if it can, just add them to the abil itself, as you have to add that neways

Well. I was hoping it could behave like the Resurrection ability. With cooldown and mana cost visible on the icon itself.

if all else fails , you could simply type it in the extended tool tip.
