I'm working on a map, and was using some images from the Arreat Summit Diablo 2 site for items in the game. I save the little images from the site, open them with Photoshop, make them 64x64, then save em as BTN.... and tga format, then open them in the WC3 image extractor, and try to convert them to .blp through that, but when I do it says unsupported compression. Then, thinking it is jsut being stupid, I load them into my game, chance the path to ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\, as well as having the icons in the wc3 folder in the same directory, and when i go to load them as an icon for an item, is crashes the editor. Now I have made many icons before that work fine and know what I'm doing with them.

I think the problem is when I save them to .tga format, I am not getting the option of what compression to save them as, so maybe they are not saving as 24 like is needed. I have done this with other icons before and it gives me the option, but not these ones off the site. I have checked other Diablo sites to see if I could get the icons there to work, but they do the same thing.

Could anyone help me out. Here is a sample one that I have to give you an idea. Thank you for the help!

HHmmm couldnt figure out how to attach files so here are two links to them that I uploaded onto the internet.
