Bone (Any type of item) is the same nomatter what hide you use. Hence why it's wise to use a low quality skin to create bone type armor. The advantage of bone items is easy to make armor (defense), but the downside is that it doesn't work as well as HQ type armor (ex. HQ Boots make you move faster than Bone Boots).
The game is not yet finished, hence the b...which does = beta. If you notice, the Dire Boar still does not spawn a pet. In future versions, the white tiger will spawn more than meat, as will the boar. I'm currently making the loading screen (as well as a new minimap preview screen). I'm still working on tooltips, and new items/buildings will most likely be released in final beta versions (since buildings and new items require minimal testing).
Remember that there are still bugs and the content is not yet complete. We appreciate any feedback, as it helps to make the game better.
Xelnaga, for one thanks for the compliment on the terrain. Second, by the release version we will have given credit to every artist whos work we used. I have jotted down every model and author via this website, but I have not yet found who created the interface (I remember seeing it on this site long ago). If that's what you mean by the "layout", we will gradly credit Killst4r for his work.
EDIT: I also had to mention, Xelnaga, that this was not a "pirated" version. Though it has alot of the same as your version of ITT or "Kyx's Ice Trolls Tribes", that was merely added for playability, and well it's very hard to beat/better already good ideas. - And yes, alot of recipes were taken from "Ice Trolls Tribes I".
