Introducing the first public beta of ITT II made by kyxoan.
Terrain and a few of the systems were done by my partner Apathetic-Irony

ITT II is an expantion from my original troll map Ice Troll Tribes. This expantion introduces classes to the game, A hunger stat Health retoring herbs / potions. 2 new animals 1 new pet (white tiger) full revamp on balance and terrain.

1.14b updates
-Hunger bug should be fixed
-Hunger stat icon is now a piece of meat rather then a troll head
-Clicking on a teammates fire or banner will now make it yours so the tribal spirit is useable by all. Because of the fire now being usable by all you dont have to drop your raw meat to cook it just click on the fire and click cook meat.

(This is assumeing that all the updates did work properly)

Kyx, i must say i am very disappointed. Firstly congrats to apathetic-irony on making the terrain, it is excellent. But i am afraid there isnt much more on the map. a few classes, a few more items. This is just like Ice Trolls 1. I expected much, much more from the few months working on this map.

A little Birdy told me you made ITT2.
When I first seen this I was like "He made an original survival map!" Kinda wish you used a different race but I guess it would not be ice trolls 2 with out icetrolls. =þ

Now that I'v played it once I see its just your pirated ver with new terrain (btw good job Apathetic-Irony it looks awsome!)
A comment the Little Birdy said as we was playing is he wished there was new buildings and stuff. I never played your newest ver of your ITT so I dont know what all you added.

I noticed the loading screen says Kxy's ice trolls.
Sence this map is ITT2 should'nt it say "Ice Troll tribes 2" then under it By Kyx and Irony?

A few things I did notice was the Items drop there tooltips, you can fix this by giving them a name at "Text-ToolTip-Name". This will lock them in place. Also some items have a sell price I dont think you ment for that.
Lastly The Credits dont give for the Custom Models, skins, Icons, and Layout you used in the map. its customery to give credit to the people that made them.
FYI Killst4r made the layout you can find it in the skin section here. If its still here, it's pritty old.

As you said it still a beta and will have more improvments. Good luck and all that.

Yes not much has been added yet thats "totally new" because we just broke off of alpha testing. Usally you want to make sure everything works with the massive systems we added to this game before adding more stuff to potentially screw the map up. Ie. 3 new classes = 3 new variables for the multiboard, Had to make sure all the checks worked and that the variables took hold to be displayed on the board. Initially they didnt but i fixed that. As to the loading screen thats not in yet the new one is actully being worked on by apath as we speak. 1.15 will have it in. And FYI Xel we did make this from scratch... if you were to see the triggers practicly everything is new. I believe all i really kept from the old map was the board and variables for the board. I had to implement new variable checks and variables as i said previously. Ummm how many ways can you discribe a flint? the resources and buildings are the same i guess... but i didnt want to change the map compleatly. Ive gotten alot of positive feedback from this map already. It could possibly make it to the blizzard spotlight maps according to a few sites. Thanks for the feedback though Xel. 1.15 should be out around this weekend.

well i kinda prefer more basic terrian, but thats just me, also does the spirit ward auctually DO anything? it says it has to be enchanted. yet at the guide it says that it revives allies. How many people auctually host this? i only got to play this twice on b.net, and i was the host.

That Quality Hide thing still bothers me.
The quality of hide determens on how the anaima is killed, how it is skined and how it is treated. <- Real Life.

You have it set up based on the animal it came from.
OH Also the Tiger does not drop any thing exept meat, which should realy be turned into an item instead of pick up corps.
The Camp fire should also be given an aura does nothing exept display your near a campfire, then set a trigger to run every 2 or so seconds checking if a unit is under the buff of Campfire heat then giving + temp if it is. That way you dont have the auto cast heat going. What was I thinking...

some of the tannery things need to be fixed, such as, a low quality glove turned bone gauntlet is the same as high quality turned bone guantlets, and apprently high quality is better than bone guantlets

Bone (Any type of item) is the same nomatter what hide you use. Hence why it's wise to use a low quality skin to create bone type armor. The advantage of bone items is easy to make armor (defense), but the downside is that it doesn't work as well as HQ type armor (ex. HQ Boots make you move faster than Bone Boots).

The game is not yet finished, hence the b...which does = beta. If you notice, the Dire Boar still does not spawn a pet. In future versions, the white tiger will spawn more than meat, as will the boar. I'm currently making the loading screen (as well as a new minimap preview screen). I'm still working on tooltips, and new items/buildings will most likely be released in final beta versions (since buildings and new items require minimal testing).

Remember that there are still bugs and the content is not yet complete. We appreciate any feedback, as it helps to make the game better.

Xelnaga, for one thanks for the compliment on the terrain. Second, by the release version we will have given credit to every artist whos work we used. I have jotted down every model and author via this website, but I have not yet found who created the interface (I remember seeing it on this site long ago). If that's what you mean by the "layout", we will gradly credit Killst4r for his work.

EDIT: I also had to mention, Xelnaga, that this was not a "pirated" version. Though it has alot of the same as your version of ITT or "Kyx's Ice Trolls Tribes", that was merely added for playability, and well it's very hard to beat/better already good ideas. - And yes, alot of recipes were taken from "Ice Trolls Tribes I".
