Hello. My question is the next: I want to know if it's possible that when an unit (hero) have two diferent custom abilities, that their are based on the same ability, it don't be used the two abilities, or it don't be used the ability that you aren't using. An example: If I do two custom abilities, based on the "thunder", however I custom the two abilities, making them totally diferent, if the hero have that two abilities, when I use one of them, the other is automatically used to...

¿Can I change that?.:witch_doc_sad:

Thanks for the help. If you need more information of the issue, tell me.

Each spell has a ID which cannot be changed (I'm not sure about this, maybe it can be changed). If you copy a spell the ID is copied aswell. When you activate a spell the game will check the ID and try to use any spell with the same ID.

So the answer is no.

The answer is yes. You can change the ID of the ability 'Channel'. It's dummy ability that can be used for anything(it can be single target, AoE, chaneling, instant and more).Use as many channel based abilities as you wish as long as you change their ID.

Well. Thanks for Zinive, for explainme the issue of the IDs, I didn't know it, and now, I understant a little more the mechanism of the abilities.

And well, special thanks for you, Martin Barbov, for tell me about the channel. That will be the solution for a lot of my problems in the Editor.

Well, thanks for all, for your help. We see in the forums ;).
