Well i am making a game. All 4 races are being redone. I need someone who can change the base(es) and the rest of the terrain to fit the 4 race. im not good with terrain or doddad so im asing a skilled person to help me. you will get credit for it just put your name in the credits.
THe 4 race.
Dwarf and Elven aliance (top left). With the Elf's magic and the Dwarfs Tech, they now have the greatest war machine. taking reffuge in an old castle they now get ready Heavy attack from unknow Enemy. They have found an ally.
Watter-logged (bottom left). A collection of mutant monster and Naga. They use brute force to overpower enemies. No one can get the the base they have, unless they can take control of the hidden waygate, but once your in, your not comming out. they are allied with the Forgotten Dweller.
Mountain Demon (top right). They are demon but they dont like to fight wars. The home they have is at risk so they will fight to protect it. They have manny Magics and the strongest single units. They have allied with the Elven and Dwarf aliance to drive back the oposing force.
Forgotten dweller(bottom right). A dark race with little know about them. using dark arts and Brute strenght they will crush all who come in contact.
They wont attack The watter-logged thoe. They have manny dark tricks so dont cross them.

I need whoeveris helping me to change the terrain and place the doodad to fit the Race. the Mountain demon should have manny trees. they are not Hostile demon so make it look like a neutral/natural place. For the dwarf and elfs make it look like its some old, betten up castle that they have been holding out in for weeks. For the Watter make it look like a swampy base. thier building can be build in water so dont worry about ground terrain. For the Dweller make it look like some dark unwanted place.

I havenot done any custom unit yet so dont say anything.

:D I may be able to help you, depending on what tileset you are looking at.

P.S. I may be able to help you even more if you answer MY forum a couple of spaces under yours

well if you can help me its a custom titlest. sunken ruins is the base. there is room for one extra tile. i dont realy care what you do, just as long as it still fits the People, and you can still build there. it just needs to fit the race. mid field should look like a battle field. ill add bodies too it while i do units.

about you topic i was confused with what you ment with it.

Eusira not all people have a good creative intelligence ( just look at my maps and you'll understand about what i'm aying here)

Hmm gunner (good nick ;)~) i think it' more like a melee map , so you may just take any blizzard map and add there your custom units.. i know for example 3 maps wirch may help you there..and they all are integrated at WC3 from the beginning.

That, and please don't encourage people to use ripped blizz maps. Sure, blizzard maps should always be used as a reference in terms of how to terrain, lay tiles, doodads, ect, but dont say "just take a blizz map and add your stuff." We have enouph of those on this site which I'm looking for a reason to remove...

Don't rip the maps completly, but take a few of your favorites, and see what you like about them. Try to incorperate those ideas into your own map. For instance, you see a lot of forests with narrow paths leading through them, try to put that into your map.

Another good idea (to help avoid copying) is to open your favorite maps, look at the terrain, write down what you like about them, walk away for half and hour, and then come back. Generally the map's image is vague in your head, and you won't copy it. It works for me :).

Asking others to do your own work is a pet peeve of mine. Having group projects is one thing, but saying "I need someone to do this for me" doesn't make it your map.

I'm not a great terrainer, but I still make my own terrain. I wouldn't think about asking someone to do somthing like that for me, unless the offered first.
