Hi folks,

So I have created a simple map with the World Editor. I created a new unit in the Object Editor and only changed some colors. I'd like to watch it in the Warcraft III Viewer. But it seems like I can only open mpq/mdx files. How can I create a mpq file from a simple Warcraft 3 map?

Thanks in advance

Wc3 maps are just MPQs with different extensions though the viewer wont take object editor data into account when displaying a model.

Regardless, you would need to look for the model in war3.mpq, war3x.mpq or war3patch.mpq (if it isnt a custom model, in which case it should be somewhere in the map archive)
