Warcraft 3 viewer question

How can I make a skin from a BMP file in the viewer ? I would like to import my skin , but can't do a screenshot since they all become corrupted and when I open the skin's picture in warcraft 3 viewer , it shows the parts I reskinned , not the model :/

uhh first of you double posted.
now for the help. if you could explain it in greater detail to me that would help because all i know so far is you remade a skin(apparantly you converted it back into a .blp) and when you try to assign it the model becomes a shadow?
or it only shows the model w/ the original skin?

When I open the BLP file (the skin) in wc3 viewer it simply shows me the picture , not the model

because you have to look at the mdx not the blp. blp=skin only no model
so if you based it off a unit that already has a skin you have to name that skin to what the model originaly used. So the viewer is working correctly
