how to set a worker's build type

how do you set a workers build type? like, how do i set if a worker builds like a human, undead, or elf, or orc?

i believe they build like that depending on the unit u use a the base for the custom unit.

I presume the repair, renew and repair human + un summon also related to this.

It's based on the race the unit is set to. If you took a Peasant and set it to Orc, it should go inside the building to build it.

That's how i have a unit based off of the peasant summon buildings; made it undead.

I *believe* it also depends on the race of the building built.

The building's race does not matter. If you allow the Peasant to build Necropolises, it will build by repairing.

yes, i've check it.. it is depends on the race of the worker.
If you allow the Peasant to build Necropolises, it will build by repairing.
If you allow the Acolyte to build Town Hall, it will build by Summon.
If you allow the Peon to build Town Hall, it will build by get in to the structure.
i don't know about night elf

Night Elves work just like Orcs with the exception that buildings marked as Ancient (it is a flag) will consume the worker. The Ancient flag on buildings does alter build behaviour as such.

As far as I am aware, there were no buildable creep structures.

Naga again was very similar to Orc and Night Elf.

Sorry to bring up this old topic but I had the same question and it depends on both. If the race of the worker is Human it won't disappear in the building but if you want MULTIPLE WORKERS to build the same building at the same time, the building's race must also be Human! Otherwise, only one of workers is able to build it. I needed this for my Goblin race which should behave like Humans.
