[JASS] How to make the "Blaze" spell in Diablo 2?

Hi, all. Any idea to make a spell just like "Blaze" in Diablo 2? For those of you who do not know what Blaze is, here is the description: When invoked, conjures a trail of fire to follow in the Sorceress' wake and damage enemies who walk pass it.

I know how to make a trail of fire but having difficulties to damage any enemies who run through it because it seems I need to store lots of coordinates. Any help? Thanks.
