how to make npc sell quest like twilight

i have a question. how do i make npc sell quest like in twilight?

make custom items and when you buy that certain item, create a trigger and make a quest...

If your asking how to make a unit sell an item. In the object editor you just add the item to the line > Techtree - items sold
Also unit needs the ability hero select
You may want to make a new hero select ability (copy/paste it) and remove the selection arrow.

Not sure if that's what you where ask'in. Just thought I'd throw that in.
