How to make even equal walls?

I played a lot of maps where the walls on both sides match and are equally lined up. What im saying how would i make like a castle with lined of equal walls?

Terrain Palette>Apple Cliff>Increase two
uh thats wat i did for mine and also use Cliff type> Tiled walls

All of this is found in terrain palette

How would i use the grid? I've honestly never used the grid ever.

go into editor, Press g, voila a grid

you use a grid how you would use any other grid.

I guess you want the walls to be the same size, not random sizes etc. You need to disable "place random variations" and also, you have to set to false "allow placing random sizes"..etc

Place 1 part of wall then select it (so there is a green circle around it) then press Ctrl+C
now press Ctrl+V and walla you have another piece of wall same size and angle as the first you can move around - carefully place next to the first part of wall. EZ no?

You can make one side of the map first and then copy terrain, rotate it, paste it and then copy doodads in the same way.

Select area/doodads - Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V - Edit(toolbar) > Rotatesomething - Place it
