[Trigger] how to make a unit have a special effect at weapon at start

    • Unit - Unit enters (region where unit enters when it is bought)
  • Conditions
    • (Unit type of (entering unit)) equal to (your hero that will have an attachment)
  • Actions
    • Special Effect - Attach special effect on (weapon) of (entering unit) using (spells/human/thunderclap/thunderclap.mdl)
that shoeld be that... I don't know exact event so i can't help yo fully.
if your event is
  • Unit - Unit sells a unit
then don't use (entering unit) but (buying/selling unit) i don't know exactly.

Using triggers to create effects is 1 solution.

But you can also use the bloodmages sphere ability and change it to be attacked to weapons only. Add this to the unit. The only disadvantage with this ability, that the projectiles goes to the points where you use spells if your hero is a ranged attacker.
