[General] How to display gold amount required to purchase when out of distance to shop item ?

I discovered this by accident but don't know how it works . Does anyone know how to show it?

An ugly solution would be to have "invisible" units centered at each shop which act as Patrons. This way the Shop never requires a Patron since it will always have one. Or maybe you can toggle that on the Shop abilities... Don't know.
