How To Determine DPS

Sick of never being able to tell if a weapon will give you more DPS while browsing the AH?
Here's how.
Please note I have created a dps calculation module and it can be found in this thread.
Simply type in the numbers and it changes it all for you!

For determining DPS, use 100 attacks:
WDPS (Weapon DPS)
MSA (Main Stat Add % Damage, \ 100)
PCD (Pre Crit DPS)
PCO (Pre Crit Overall)
CDD (Crit Damage DPS)
CDO (Crit Damage Overall)
DPS (Damage Per Second)
CHC (Crit Hit Chance)
CD (Crit Damage)

PCD = WDPS(1+MSA)
PCO = PCD(100-CHC)
CDD = PCD (1+CD)
CDO = CDD x CHC
DPS = (PCO + CDO) \ 100

Example, No Armor On:

2h Weapon, 1 APS, 10 DPS
5% Crit Hit Chance
50% Crit Hit Damage
187 Base Intellect

PCD = 10(1+1.87)
PCD = 28.7
PCO = 28.7 (100-5)
PCO = 2,726.50
CDD = 28.7(1+0.50)
CDD = 43.05
CDO = 43.05 x 5
CDO = 215.25
DPS = (2,726.50 + 215.25) \ 100
DPS = 29.4175
DPS Rounded = 29.42
