Hello,
I'm trying to create a steep cliff type of terrain (with a sharp cutoff) .
I found an old thread and the following comment with screenshot: Screenshot
@Jaccouille Just for clarification; The cliffs you are seeking aren't made with actual cliffs, they are made by raising/lowering terrain, and then using the plateau brush.
You will get steep walls that you can cover in doodads. Just...
But I tried to follow alog and I can't re-create this type of terrain. I tried using the Height Raise Tool on a single spot where ive added a wall and then the PLatue tool around but I cant get it to be steep enough ,there is always some slope + the wall postioning goess off.
Anyone got an idea what I'm missing?
Thanks,

I assume he just doesn't know that the steep "cliffs" aren't actually cliffs in that sense. Also he didn't mention anything about the registry, which is why I mentioned it since it's a required thing.I thought that as well, but his second screenshot displays the cliffs for some reason and everything seems all right with his registry settings.
