how to change rain of fire missile?

Rain of fire has no missles. The falling debree are a stationary effect. I agree that this was a stupid idea when they designed the spell but they did not have to worry about physics I guess.

Changing the art that the spell uses will result in what ever model you choose being created instead of the falling rocks model. However only a few models represent falling objects, like starfall, blizzard, inferal and ofcourse rain of chaos fit the spell. If you were to make water elemental projectiles spawn, they would sit on the ground as they are not animated to fall.
 
Honestly if you need more than 2 or 3 complex triggers (GUI especially, for example with a lot loop actions as well as creating large number of units and special effects at same time) for spell you need for any multiplayer map, maybe you should find another less complex way or replace spell...

There is no point of creating spell that can freeze screen for few sec.
Also you must care about other players as well, maybe you have super fast computer with godlike performances, large number of players don't :sad:

So my suggestion is, avoid complex loop spells, 1 or 2 loop systems will already increase lag, add high res terrain and boom your map will lag like hell!

Kaiser12 can you tell as what you exactly need for your map, and did you find answer and solution already :xxd:
