How to change a model attacks?

I downloaded a napoleon skirmisher model from here. He has attack - ranged and attack alternate - melee. How can I make for the malee skrimisher to attack with the melee animation not ranged :?

1) In object editor, Art - Required Animation Names: alternate
2)

• Animation - Add the alternate animation tag to *unit*
